Jordan Osborn Jordan Osborn - Owner, Restore
Jordan Osborn was born and raised in Southern California and has been teaching Pilates for 14 years and studying Kanon for 4 years. She began her career as a professional ballet dancer at the age of 19 with the Texas Ballet Theatre, where she performed a variety of ballets from classical to contemporary. Her love of movement and discipline of the body lead her to receiving her first Pilates Certification with the Physical Mind Institute. Classically trained, she has received advanced training at the Teague Pilates Institute, who's program is based on the Pilates Center in Boulder Colorado. She is also one of the only students of Thomas Griner, founder and creator of Kanon Biocybernetics.

After she retired from the dance world at the age of 24 her artistic pursuits lead her to graduating with an Associate's Degree from the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, California. With a love of the culinary arts, Jordan worked in restaurants from the kitchen to management - all the while teaching and enjoying Pilates, keeping herself strong and injury free.

After leaving the culinary world, she continued with her quest of living a pain free and healthy life and obtained her Massage Therapy License from the Massage Center in Thousand Oaks, California in order to practice Kanon.. Her desire is to help people restore their bodies, releasing the spastic muscles and then teaching them to stay out of pain and stay balanced with Pilates.

Jordan is an experienced teacher and practitioner working with a variety of clients of all ages, injuries and fitness backgrounds. She believes in functional movement through Pilates, and the Kanon therapy as the key to reversing the issues that causes pain. Through working with Jordan you can meet the goals of longevity that you have been seeking for your body.

Barbara Keira Schwartz - GYROTONIC® teacher
Keira was born in Bellingen, Australia. She left home to finish her ballet training on full scholarship in Germany at the Akadamia des Tanzes under Birgit Keil. While in Germany Keira joined the Staatstheatre Meiningen Ballet and then the Anhaltisches Theatre Dessau. After her time in Germany, she was invited to join the Northern Ballet under David Nixon in Leeds, England. With her duel citizenship (Australian and American) in hand and so much more to learn and experience, new shores beckoned her to the USA where she joined The Sarasota Ballet, in Florida. Eventually heading west she joined Ballet San Jose where she danced for 7 years under Director Dennis Nahat, and finally in Los Angeles with Barak Ballet.

At the beginning of her ballet career in Germay, she was introduced to GYROTONIC® as a system for strengthening the body, enhancing flexibility and correcting postural deficiencies. For the last 13 years, Keira has woven her dance career with training for GYROTONIC®, seeing the potential of this system, and now devoting her self to her clients.

Keira's expertise of the body and the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® system can address the physical needs of a wide range of clients yet also mentally calm and inspire anyone to move beyond there predisposed limitations.

She has worked with a wide range of individuals from professional dancers and athletes, the elderly and clients working to heal injuries and enhance mobility and strength. Her clients range in age from 8 years old to 90! Using GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Keira can design a unique program for each client based on the individual's needs and goals.

Keira has found her teaching home at Restore Muscle + Movement, and is excited to share her love and knowledge for GYROTONIC® with you all.

Nika Eshetu Nika Eshetu - Pilates teacher
Nika Eshetu is a Pilates trainer and golf fitness specialist whose practice and teachings apply the principles of Pilates to all areas of fitness and health. Nika knows first hand the benefits of fitness and specifically Pilates.

After receiving a kidney transplant, Nika discovered Pilates, a fitness practice which transformed her body, gave her renewed energy, and helped her reach her fitness goals that once seemed unattainable.

Inspired to help others become empowered through fitness and reach their fitness goals, Nika set out to become a Pilates instructor. Always searching for the latest information and educational tools, Nika became a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Certified Instructor as well as a Master Instructor for the Evidence Based Fitness Academy (EBFA). Additional certifications include: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Titleist Performance Institute Certified Fitness Professional, K-Vest Certified, Neurokinetic Therapy, as well as Functional Movement Taping (FMT) 1 and 2.

Kathryn Peters Kathryn Peters - Pilates teacher
Kathryn Peters, Pilates alchemist, began her Pilates journey 25 years ago after she suffered significant back injuries as a competitive gymnast and UGA college cheerleader.

Studying dance and Pilates in NYC, Kathryn found Pilates to be her savior in strengthening her core and improving postural back muscles. With daily practice she was able to put off having a spinal fusion for over 15 years.

Kathryn's background in apparel design, nutrition and personal styling led her to open up a comprehensive healing center in Charleston SC with a state of the art Pilates studio within. 7 years later, Kathryn's completion of her masters in Spiritual Psychology at University of Santa Monica and love of California brought her to LA.

Kathryn's double certification of over 1000 hours teacher training in contemporary and classical Pilates combined with extensive education in Traditional Japanese Bodywork through the Shiatsu School in Singapore and Reiki certification allows her clients to receive for a unique Pilates experience customized for each individual body and their specific needs. Kathryn is also certified in Immersion Pilates Aquatics and teaches Pilates H2O in Santa Barbara, Maui and Palm Springs.
